Access:

Drive State Route 2 going 2.8 miles west of the Skykomish. Turn south onto the Old Cascade Highway. The road is just west of the highway tunnel. Drive the Old Cascade Highway for 1.0 mile then turn south onto the Miller River Road #6410. Continue on Road #6410 for 9.5 miles to the road's end at the trailhead.

Attractions & Considerations:

The trail leads through densely shaded forest to the outlet of Dorothy Lake at 1.5 miles. The trail follows the lake's eastern edge for another 2.0 miles. From here the trail climbs one mile to the ridge and district boundary and then heads southwest towards Bear, Deer, and Snoqualmie Lakes in the Snoqualmie Ranger District. This trail is in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness Area.
